Russia Ukraine Crisis : Apple halts the sale of its products in Russia, Limits Apple Pay

Following Russia’s war on Ukraine, Apple said on Tuesday that it has halted sales of its goods in the country. In addition to additional measures, the tech giant said it is stopping online transactions and shipments to its Russian partners, as well as banning Apple Pay transactions in the country.

“We are deeply concerned about the Russian invasion of Ukraine and stand with all of the people who are suffering as a result of the violence,” Apple said in an e-mailed statement. “We are supporting humanitarian efforts, providing aid for the unfolding refugee crisis, and doing all we can to support our teams in the region.”
