Google banned ZOOM to be used by its employees
Google has added in the list of companies that banned the use of the ZOOM App recently. In this global pandemic, where companies asked their employees to work from home ZOOM came out as an App on the rescue.
According to Buzz Feed, an email was being sent by Google to its employees that the ZOOM app will not work on their work station. It’s quite interesting to know that even though Google has MEET in its G Suite it was still using the ZOOM app.

Told Buzz Feed news that ZOOM App has some security concerns that is why it had told it employees that it will not work on their corporate computers. But they can still communicate with their family and friend from their browser.
Before Google banned the ZOOM app, SpaceX Elon Musk’s space exploration company also told its employees not to use the ZOOM App – according to Reuters. In a letter to its employees SpaceX said to its employees “We understand that many of us were using this tool for conferences and meeting support, please use email, text or phone as alternate means of communication.” NASA was also not left behind and banned its employees from using the ZOOM app because of privacy concerns.
After all, these reports flowing over the internet that stated ZOOM issues with security, Zoom CEO Eric S Yuan came forward and said that they will be working on the concerns raised and there will be no new feature update for the next 90 days.
