Middle order of all the teams in IPL 2022

In the IPL 2022, all ten franchises participated in a mega auction to acquire excellent and match-winning horses for their teams. Many teams were successful, and just a handful failed to capitalise on their auction plan. Teams like the Lucknow Supergiants, Chennai Super Kings, and Punjab Kings have built a strong batting line-up by cherry-picking their finest hitters.

The middle-order batters in any batting line-up, however, play a critical part in making it more essential — players who bat at (4/5/6) make up the middle-order section of a team. In IPL 2022, the hitters are exactly on the money in terms of accumulating large sums of money.

Punjab Kings  (PBKS)
Punjab Kings have a strong and tough Middle Order batting lineup, led by “Liam Livingston, Shahrukh Khan, and Johnny Bairstow,” who will work their magic for their club. These are all fascinating players who can lead Punjab’s batting to the top of the competition, something the PBKS administration has been striving for quite some time.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

CSK has a well-built middle order, which is identical to last season’s, with Ambati Rayudu batting in the anchor position and Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni exploding the attacking super showdown in the game’s last overs. All three hitters have a strike rate of above 130 and contribute to their teams’ success.

Mumbai Indians (MI)
Tim David, a rookie hitter for the Mumbai Indians, is making his debut appearance. Suryakumar Yadav, a constant force, as well as veteran Kieron Pollard, will play a key role here. All three batters can alter gears depending on the situation and put the club in a commanding position.

Delhi capital (DC)

The Delhi Capitals, led by skipper Rishabh Pant, will start at number four, and Rovman Powell’s raw hitting power from the Caribbean can help them sail through their innings quickly. Sarfaraz Khan, who has been in sensational form in the domestic Ranji Trophy, will be able to channel his golden touch for the DC. Marcus Stoinis’ absence created a void of aggressiveness, which Rovman Powell could fill.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)

Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, and Krunal Pandya of Lucknow’s pure Indian batting background made their spot at No. 5. Though Manish Pandey and Deepak Hooda have a poor strike rate, Krunal Pandya’s devastating striking power may compensate for their game. As a result, LSG’s middle-order would be the most steady and constant of all the teams’ middle-orders.

 Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)
The Sunrisers Hyderabad middle trio may appear unappealing on paper, but last year’s fight was unforgettable for all of us. This time, Nicholas Pooran joins the duo of Priyam Garg and Abdul Samad in the middle, and all of them are aggressive in their batting style, which is something that has been missing for the team.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

This year, the purple lads have a fresh addition to their ranks. With the two Knights Nitish Rana and ‘Andre’ the monster, i.e. Andre Russell, the English Wicket Keeper, Sam Billings, will play a significant part in the middle order. While form has been a major worry for them in recent seasons and will continue to be in this one. Sunil Narine might also get a chance to show off his skills at the most important spot in the batting order.

Gujarat Titans  (GT)

Gujarat Titans, one of the 15th edition of IPL 2022’s new clubs, bought dismantling batsmen to meet their hitting demands. Gujarat Titans, led by Hardik Pandya, have sturdy players like David Miller .

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)
The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have the most difficult task in resolving their middle-order snafu. Glenn Maxwell, Dinesh Kartik, and Mahipal Lomror are the greatest combo for RCB’s middle order. However, if Maxy bats at No. 4, the burden of finishing will fall on the youthful shoulders of Mahipal Lomror, Anuj Rawat, and Wanindu Hasaranga, which may not be enough to overcome practically any team’s powerful bowling unit.

Rajasthan Royals  (RR)

Rajasthan Royals, like RCB, are plagued by the same problems. Sanju Samson, Shimron Hetmyer, and Riyan Parag are not in excellent form right now, making RR’s middle order the worst of all the teams. Sanju Samson and S Hetmyer have large names, yet when they go in, they have little names.
