Netizens are trending when Jeff Bezos can buy The Washington Post why not Elon Musk buy twitter

Since the beginning of Elon Musk’s entering the twitter-sphere, he has been making twitter more interesting. Elon Musk has gathered a large following on Twitter since then. He is currently followed by 81 million Twitter users.

However, things took a sharp turn when Elon Musk bought twitter’s 9.2% shares. Making him the largest shareholder in Twitter, even more than the founder Jack Dorsey himself. He has been receiving criticism as well as the praise on social media.

Elon Musk has been on the receiving end from The Washington Post which has criticized the move by Elon Musk to buy off Twitter. In one of many posts, The Washington Post mentioned that government should bring in some mechanism to stop billionaires from buying Social Media platforms. However, users were quick to point out that The Washinton Post itself has been bought by Jeff Bezos in the year 2013.

Several users started to point out is it Jeff Bezos is trying to malign Elon Musk’s image by publishing such articles. Even Elon Musk made fun of the posts by the publication on Twitter itself.

After this users on Twitter started trending that if Jeff Bezos can buy The Washington Post then why not Elon Musk buy Twitter.

Netizens are quick to come to rescue Elon Musk as soon as some criticism is seen online over Elon. We believe even publication houses should also be free from any such influence. News should be funded by the people for the people.
