Russian metro system hacked by Anonymous under OpRussia campaign
Ghost Security announced that it had gained access to IT systems that service Russia’s subway systems. Hacktivists from Anonymous and other groups reported intrusions into the country’s transportation and financial critical infrastructure sectors.
Controls for the smoke system, the air conditioning (TEMP) in each train (labelled car in attached images), the battery system, full building blueprints with temp control, as well as the reports on each train were seized by the hacker group.

Network Battalion 65 continues to target Russian entities with a modified version of the Conti ransomware.
Russia hackers have released caches of data seized by Anonymous, including emails from a Russian defence contractor and an oil and gas exploration company.
There have also been reports of government websites being shut down, as well as leaks of documents and confidential information about the Russian government and Putin.
Anyone can join the Russia operation as an insurgent group and global collective action, but keep in mind that most attacks involve illegal activities.
