USA state Arizona taking Google to court

The US province of Arizona recorded a claim Wednesday blaming Google for submitting extortion by being beguiling about social event area information. Arizona lawyer general Mark Brnovich said the suit came about because of an examination propelled two years back after a media report that Google had methods of knowing where clients were regardless of whether they selected not to impart area data to the web firm.

“While Google users are led to believe they can opt-out of location tracking, the company exploits other avenues to invade personal privacy,” Brnovich said in a press release.

“It’s nearly impossible to stop Google from tracking your movements without your knowledge or consent.”

The suit accuses Google of damaging Arizona extortion law and requires the organization to hand over cash it produced using its exercises in that state.

“The attorney general and the contingency fee lawyers filing this lawsuit appear to have mischaracterized our services,” Google spokesman Jose Castaneda said in response to an AFP inquiry.

“We have always built privacy features into our products and provided robust controls for location data.”
