Information Technology export of Telangana roses over 26.14% this year
Telangana records over 26.14 percent growth in Information Technology exports despite the ongoing pandemic situation. It has added around 1.50 lakh new jobs during the year 2021-22.
Telangana’s IT/ITeS exports has gained around Rs 1,83,569 crore this year. Initially, the state recorded Rs 1,45,522 crore in the year 2020-21. The growth in the exports can be seen and was 12.98 percent growth during the last year.
Around 1,49,506 new jobs were added in the IT/ ITeS sector. Consequently to take around 7,78,121 employees in total. Accordingly, the exports in the state grew by 26.14 percent this year.
Initially, in the year 2014, Telangana’s IT exports were Rs 57,258 crore and the IT employment figure was at 3,23,397. However, now the total employment in the IT sector in Telangana has rosed to 7,78,121.
Even when the pandemic ruined the whole world economically, Telangana has maintained its authority on top. It has created a business-friendly environment despite being the virus. Consequently, other IT companies around the world have appreciated Telangana for their agility and adaptability during this tough time.
For the year 2021-22, Telangana has shown phenomenal growth in the IT & IT-enabled sector with a growth of 26.14% in IT/ITeS exports.
