In the latest Sidhu Moosewala’s case arrest, Siddhesh Kamble alias Mahakal, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has stated that Bollywood film director and producer Karan Johar was on their target list. Consequently, the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has listed Karan Johar on his extortion target list.

Kamble, also known as Mahakal, was a suspected shooter in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. Now, Kamble is in the custody of Pune rural police for an initial case registered in the district. Police and Mumbai Crime branch have questioned him of his connection with the Moosewala murder and a threat letter which was received by Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan this month.

The accused, during investigation, revealed the information about the future plans of the Bishnoi gang. Consequently, the gang was planning to extort around ₹5 crore from Johar by threatening him. After Sidhu’s murder, the Bishnoi gang was trying to take advantage of the situation caused due to murder.

Consequently, they planned to threaten Bollywood celebrities and extort money from them. However, the senior officials of Pune rural police are still verifying the accused Kamble’s claim about Karan Johar being a target for extortion.
