Chelsea up for Raphinha to join at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea assures to rebuild their attack could see them follow their move for Englishman Raheem Sterling, the blues rival Arsenal for bid in favour of Leeds’s player Raphinha.
Thomas Tuchel has considered moves for Barcelona’s Dembele and Everton player Richarlison, whose main interest has come from Tottenham, but the head coach is more intrigued at focusing on his attention to Raphinha.
The Leeds winger, has scored 11 goals last season, was widely expected to join Barcelona but financial issues have complicated Barca’s transfer plans and have resulted in Arsenal getting ahead priority for Raphinha, who became a part of Leeds from Rennes for 17m pounds in 2020.
Chelsea wants to improve their quality in the final third and have agreed to loan of Belgian player Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan. Raphinha can fulfill the absence of Lukaku and can play a number of roles across the front line.
Names like Nathan Ake, Matthijs de Ligt are also in the pipeline for the London club. Thomas Tuchel is desperate to bring two attacking players.
