On Monday, Indian Billionaire Anand Mahindra takes on Twitter to appreciate the milestone that India has achieved of vaccinating 90% of adults against COVID-19.
“I think most of us are so weary of covid that we have begun to lose focus on it. But this should make us pause and take pride in a huge achievement given our mammoth population…A best-in-class logistical exercise as well…,” Mahindra tweeted.

Along with his post, he also shares the tweet of Firstpost where they informed about India’s achievement of vaccinating 90% of adults.
According to the Firstpost, Union Health Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday informed that 90% of India’s adult population has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
“What an extraordinary feat! With PM @NarendraModi Ji’s mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Prayas, India achieves complete vaccination of 90% of its adult population. Way to go! We will win the battle against the pandemic together! ,” the health minister tweeted.

On 16 January 2021, India began the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive. More than 197.98 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered across India, a report per the latest health bulletin by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
