Tour de France 2022

The Tour de France 2022 is the ongoing 109th year of the Tour de France. It was inaugurated in Copenhagen, Denmark on 1 July, the tournament will be concluded at the Champs-Elyees, Paris on 24 July.

Now, the fresh piece of news from the event is that, Australia’s Simon Clarke won a chaotic stage five of the Tour de France after a photo finish in Arenberg as defending champion Tadej Pogacar made gains on his main rivals. The Aussie man defeated Taco van der Hoorn on the line with Norway’s Edvald Boasson Hagen placing at third.

Wout van Aert remains the race leader, although, Pogacar turned out to be the main beneficiary in the overall race for the yellow jersey. Roglic lost in two minutes after crashing on a roundtable involving Australian sprinter Caleb Ewan.
