Famous boxer Muhammad Ali once gave an unusual gesture while he was fighting his opponent in a competition that became popular among his fans.

As per sources, his face depicts “anger” and not victory. And many journalists who were present there for covering the competition also got confused by Ali’s facial expression. Everyone was confused about what was happening there.

The punch he made at his opponent just before this photo was taken was a very light one. He didn’t even hit his opponent, Liston, properly. Everyone present there in the audience observed that. And they also observed the fact that Liston was just pretending to be knocked out. Even, Ali said to Liston: “Get up and fight me sucker”.

So, the question is: Why Liston was pretending to be knocked out?

Many reasons were given by several sources. But as stated by Liston’s wife was that: Liston had diarrhea and he didn’t want to make a scene on the competition ground.
