Indian Flag unfurled 30 km above the earth by Space Kidz India’s hot air balloon on the occasion of 76th Independence Day of India

The 76th occasion of India’s Independence is being celebrated across the country in endeavor unlike any other year. Massive celebrations on the lines of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, “Har Ghar Tiranga” is being witnessed throughout the country. Amidst this, the Indian Flag was unfurled about 30 kilometres above the Earth. A hot air balloon presented by the Space Kidz India took the Indian Flag to an altitude of 1,06,000 feet above mother earth. This was executed as part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign under Azadi Ka Amrti Mahotsav. 

The organizations attempt to unfurl the National Flag above the Earth comes in as a symbol of respect and tribute to the freedom fighters that led the nation to Independence. The Space Kidz India firm added that the initiative is also a mark of pride to people who are struggling every day to make India Proud. 

Space Kidz India is an organization that creates young scientists for the country and spreads awareness among the children for a borderless world. Recently, Space Kidz India also launched a satellite called AzadiSAT into Low Earth Orbit. This satellite was developed by 750 girl students across India to mark the 75 years of India’s Independence. However, this satellite was one of the many lost due to orbital issues in the SSLV (Small Satellite Launch Vehicle).
