Ravindra Jadeja and IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings have set to be in a cold war since the end of IPL 2022. Since then the two, have not been in any touch.
Moreover, after a shaky start to IPL 2022, Jadeja was stripped of the duties at the halfway stage, citing that the captaincy role affected his gameplay. With that, MS Dhoni returned as skipper of the team. Jadeja has also cited that, it could be all over between the two parties.
According to The Times of India, Jadeja and CSK have not been in touch in the IPL 2022 conclusion, which is unlike CSK with its players, as it always seems a big family. Jadeja was out of action due to a rib injury, although, since his return to the national side, he has not indicated any communication with CSK.
A couple of months back, Jadeja deleted all his CSK-related posts from his social media handles. Furthermore, a video released by CSK wishing MSD, Jadeja was missing from the lot.
With the end of their long partnership, maybe the four time IPL champs will be trading him to another franchise in the IPL 2023 auctions.
Also, it is rumoured that a couple of big franchisees are already in talks with Jadeja over the possibility of having him, as they eye an Indian skipper.
