CS.MONEY, a trading site has pulled down it’s website offline due to cyberattack
CS.MONEY, a CS:GO Trading Site has pulled it’s website offline after a cyberattack which had let the hackers to steal around 20,000 items worth of $60,00,000.
Accordingly, the platform is still fixing its services after the cyberattack two days ago. From the last three days, the platform is experiencing major outage, while the affected users still haven’t retrieved their stolen items.
As a precaution, the CS.MONEY on Twitter announced that along with the other trading platforms, it will block the trading of the 20,000 stolen items which will prevent the hackers from selling the stolen items on other CS:GO trading platforms.
CS:GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) is the fourth version of the popular multiplayer first-person shooter game. This platform supports a virtual economy with weapon skins. These skins includes varied items and profits, which has led to the creation of trading sites, which use the Steamworks API to let the players to trade skins with each other.
