In contrast to other renewable energy sources, biomass may be directly transformed into liquid fuels known as “biofuels” to assist meet transportation fuel needs. The two most prevalent biofuels used today are ethanol and biodiesel, both of which are first-generation biofuel technologies. Chevrolet Colorado
The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado, billed as the most capable midsize Chevy truck to date, is available with a 2.8L turbo-diesel engine. Best of all, it’s B20 biodiesel compatible, allowing you to reduce your environmental impact both on and off the job site. General Motors markets the Chevrolet Colorado and its cousin, the GMC Canyon, as a line of compact and subsequently mid-sized pickup trucks. They debuted in 2004 as a replacement for the Chevrolet S-10 and GMC S-15/Sonoma compact pickups. It is named after the state of Colorado in the United States.
Ford Transit Cargo Van
The 2018 Ford Transit Cargo Van is authorized for B20 biodiesel when equipped with the 3.2L Powerstroke turbo-diesel engine. It’s meant to strike a balance between power and efficiency, allowing you to get the job done while decreasing air pollution. The Ford Transit is a family of light commercial vehicles produced by Ford Motor Company since 1965, mostly as a cargo van but also as a big passenger van (marketed as the Ford Tourneo in select markets since 1995), cutaway van chassis, and a pickup truck. The vehicle is also referred to as the Ford T-Series (T-150, T-250, T-350), a designation shared by Ford’s other light commercial vehicles, the Ford F-Series trucks, and the Ford E-Series chassis.
GMC Terrain
The optional 1.6L turbo-diesel engine of the all-new 2018 GMC Terrain is approved for B20 biodiesel, giving you more options in terms of efficiency and the environment. Not to add, this compact SUV has enough of room for passengers and goods. The GMC Terrain is a crossover SUV produced by General Motors under the GMC brand. The Terrain, like the Chevrolet Equinox, was developed on GM’s Theta platform. It is now constructed on the Delta platform. Prior to GM discontinuing the Pontiac name, it was frequently sold at the same dealerships as the Pontiac Torrent. The Terrain is GMC’s smallest car, following the Acadia.
Jaguar XE 20D
The 2.0L turbo-diesel engine of the 2018 Jaguar XE 20D premium vehicle allows you to drive about 592 miles on a single tank of B20 biofuel. The Jaguar XE is a four-door compact executive automobile with rear or all-wheel drive that is manufactured and marketed by Jaguar Land Rover under the Jaguar brand. It was created by Ian Callum and debuted at the 2014 Paris Motor Show as the X-successor. Type’s Production began in April 2015.
Range Rover Velar S D180
The Land Rover Range Rover Velar is a crossover SUV manufactured by British automaker Jaguar Land Rover under the Land Rover brand. The Velar, the fourth model in the Range Rover lineup, was introduced on March 1, 2017 in London, England. In the summer of 2017, the Velar was released. In 1969, the term Velar was used for a series of pre-production first-generation Range Rovers. The 2018 Range Rover Velar S D180 is also B20 biodiesel compliant and features a 180-horsepower 2.0L turbo-diesel engine with 317 lb.-ft. of torque. This compact luxury SUV can also go off-road.
