A Breach Forum’s user is selling access to +2 million HR.com users data

A Breach Forums user is allegedly selling access to information about +2M HR.com users obtained from HR.com’s admin panel. The user is identified as Christian Dior who posted this on breach forums on 31st August. The data contains emails, first name, last name, zip, city, address, and job title of 2 million + HR.com users from the company’s admin panel.

HR.com is the largest social network for HR professionals and the foremost, trusted industry resource for education, career development, and compliance. The majority of the content on HR.com is contributed by users. It’s “similar to Facebook, with a business community,” according to the founder, and it allows HR professionals to share best practices and research techniques.

HR.com Limited is a privately held corporation headquartered in Jacksons’ Point, Canada. Debbie McGrath founded HR.com in 1999 after previously founding CEO Group Inc., which was later sold to the Washington Post. It began as an online magazine for HR professionals but was later transformed into a social network.

HR.com has conducted industry surveys, the results of which have been published in trade publications such as the CNY Business Journal, Training & Development, Canadian Manager, and the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
