Cars with lowest NCAP ratings but highly preferred by customers in India

Every year, a large number of cars are also sold each single month in our country., car manufacturers sell many of their car models in the market and people also buy a lot of them to fulfill their needs and aspirations. But it is of utmost significance to understand the safety level of your vehicle, and this is possible by the help of Global NCAP only. NCAP is an organization that releases the safety ratings of various best-selling cars in India.

Well, analyzing and thereafter understanding the NCAP car ratings is necessary so that you have a better purchase of your vehicles whenever you make one. These car ratings are given based on the Adult and Child Occupant Protection scores. Always remember, the higher these ratings are – the better the car is in terms of safety and lower the ratings – lesser would be the car value from the safety aspect. Many times, cars are of superior value but they do not constitute enough safety rating. That is when the features of the cars boast enough but fail to rescue at the event of a crash. Let us know about some of the cars which are good in terms of the features constituted but leastto act good when supposed to take safety measures :

1) Mahindra Scorpio

Mahindra’s most popular SUV car has received 0 star safety rating for adult safety and 2 star safety rating for child safety by Global NCAP. This totally indicates how poor Mahindra Scorpio is at long term safety level

2)  Maruti Suzuki S-Presso

One of the best selling Maruti cars, the S-Presso has got 0 star safety rating for adult safety and only 2 star safety rating for child safety by Global NCAP. Again, another car with least safety rating but topmost features inbuilt in it.

3) Datsun Go

Datsun Go, has so far, been purchased by a lot of consumers in the present era. But, this hatchback car has received 0 star rating for adult safety and 2 star safety rating for child safety by Global NCAP.

4) Maruti WagonR

The country’s best-selling car has been the Maruti WagonR, but again when it’s about the safety provided; the car has received  2 star rating for both adult as well as child safety in the Global NCAP crash test.

5) Renault Kwid

Kwid might be one of the greatest models offered by Renault, however, it still achieved only 1 star rating and that clearly shows its worst safety.
