Vivo X Fold+ with SD 8+ Gen 1, 4,730mAh capacity battery launched, Pricing and complete specs

The Vivo X Fold+ was released in China today. It’s an improved version of the Vivo X Fold, which was released in the first half of this year. In terms of design and a few specifications, the latest offering is similar to the regular variant, but it has different internals under the hood. Along with the chipset, the battery was improved. The 4,730mAh capacity of the plus model (up from 4,600mAh). The new foldable flagship could last approximately 2 hours longer when watching videos when combined with the more effective chipset.

Based on the sources, due to wired charging’s power being increased to 80W (from 66W), a 70% charge can now be obtained in 18 minutes, while a full charge takes 35. The original model came with an 80W charger as well, but it wasn’t able to fully utilize it, hence it took 2 minutes longer to charge to 100%. Additionally, wireless charging stays at 50W.

The X Fold 8+, like the original, sports a 1-120Hz LTPO panel and an 8″ folding display (4:3.55) with Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG). It has ultrasonic fingerprint readers, as does the 6.53″ cover display (21:9). For multimedia and video chats, the hinge’s ability to remain open at various angles is useful. To ensure that speech is heard clearly and loudly in this setting, Vivo optimized the speakers.

We also came to know that the rear camera configuration is the same as before, consisting of a 50MP main module (1.57″ GN5 sensor, 1.0m, f/1.75 OIS), 48MP ultra-wide (114°), and two telephoto modules—a 12MP camera with a 47mm lens for portraits and an 8MP periscope camera with 5x magnification and up to 60x digital zoom as well as OIS.
