In May 2022, oppo launched Reno 8 and is planning to launch its successor Reno 9 at the end of this year in the Chinese market.
But according to leaks by the tipster who goes by the name Digital Chat Station, Reno 9 will result in the downgrade of the Reno series in terms of hardware.
The same tipster alleges that the Reno 9 Pro will have the same chipset as Samsung Galaxy A73 i.e., Snapdragon 778G.
The tipster added that the Reno 9 Pro+ will have a chipset of MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC.
Reno 9 to rival the Galaxy A53’s camera –
The Digital Chat station said that the Reno 9 Pro will have a 64MP of camera, while the Reno 9 Pro+ will have a 50MP of the main camera.
It is unclear about the sensors used in the cameras of Reno 9 Pro and Reno 9 Pro+. Whereas Reno 9 series’ rival Samsung Galaxy A53 has a 64MP with amazing sensors.

All the above-mentioned details point out that the Reno 9 series will be a downgraded version of the Reno 8 series.
However, all these specs are for the Reno 9 series of the Chinese market.
There is the possibility that the Oppo might release the Reno 9 series with different specs in the global market.
There is no news regarding the price of the Reno 9 series.
