Elon Musk opens up about the reason behind him acquiring Twitter, check it out

As all of us are aware that Elon Musk proposed to buy Twitter in April 2022, but due to several reasons and clashes the deal was halted. But now that Twitter is officially going to be undertaken by Elon Musk.

He posted on Twitter and explained to the followers the reason or motivation behind his acquiring Twitter.

He says that most of the speculations that were being made were wrong. Elon further explained that the reason he is acquiring Twitter is that it is important to the future of civilization to have a common digital town square. Where a wide range of beliefs can be debated healthily, without restoring to violence.

There is a great danger that social media will splinter into far right-wing and far left-wing echo chambers. That generates more hate and divides society furthermore. Traditional media has fueled and catered to those polarized extremes. As they believe that is what brings in the money, but in the process, the opportunity for dialogue is lost.

This is the reason why Elon Musk bought Twitter, he didn’t do it because it would be easy, or to make more money, but to try to help humanity. He further added in his Tweet that, even after several tries, Twitter cannot become a free-for-all hellscape, with no consequences. But the platform is going to be warm and welcoming to every user, where the experiences can be chosen as per the user’s desires.

Talking about advertising, he said when it’s done right, it can delight, entertain, and inform you. Show you a service or product or medical treatment that you never knew existed. He also said it is important to show Twitter users that advertising is as relevant as possible to their needs. High-relevant ads are mostly content but low-relevant ads are spam.

In conclusion, Twitter really aspires to be the most respected advertising platform in the world, which helps your brand to grow.
