Elon Musk has repeatedly accused Facebook of deceiving him about fake and spam accounts.

On August 6, a Twitter account summarised Musk’s claims, claiming that Twitter provided him with outdated and false data.

In response, Musk stated, “If Twitter simply provides their method of sampling 100 accounts and how they’re confirmed to be real, the deal should proceed on original terms.”

He also challenged Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal to a public debate about the bot percentage on the platform.

“Let him show the public that 5% of Twitter’s daily users are fake or spam!” Musk stated.

Twitter claims that less than 5% of its accounts are spam, but Musk claims that the figure is closer to 10%.

On Saturday, he launched a poll about the bot debate on his Twitter account.
