Starting in 1997, even before the company was incorporated, the concept of doodles in Google flourished to a great extent. The team has created over 5000 doodles for their homepages around the world.
The doodles are set by a group of ‘Doodlers’ who get together regularly to brainstorm and decide which events will be celebrated with a doodle. The ideas come from numerous sources.
The Google doodle team also gives their users opportunities to create and participate in the trend. The users can email their ideas to [email protected].
