The new Samsung S21 FE One UI 5 Update Shrinking phones Performance
Recently Samsung Galaxy S21 FE received the One UI 5 update which is centered on Android 13. The update is said to be brought for enhancing the performance and UI of the phone. However, according to a tipster Felix Rends recent tweet the Android 13 has been tested by Geekbench a cross-platform utility for benchmarking the central processing units.
He states that after the installation of the new software update the performance of the device decreases significantly. He added it with a picture that showed the performance result that was taken several times.
In the first test, the single-core scored 1061 whereas the multi-core scored 2506. However, these scores decreased significantly the single-core scored 654 and the multi-core scored 1945. According to the test, the current temporary average score by Geekbench 5.4.4 for Android AArch64 operating on Android 13 scored 1080 on single-core and 2820 on multi-core.
There have not been any other faults or bugs found yet with this new update. The rest of the features coming with the update like enhanced HyperBoost GPA 4.0 stabilization and battery consumption, more space in the folder, etc. are functioning properly.
Scheint wohl nur temporär gewesen zu sein … pic.twitter.com/hGPZJ258i8
