Jerry Lawson, The Inventor of Video Game Cartridges, gets honored on today’s Google Doodle

Google Doodle is known for creating fun doodles about various events and people. They take up various topics which range from tributes, and celebrations to social issues.

On Today’s Google Doodle, Google has honored The Inventor of Video Game Cartridges, Jerry Lawson. He was a pioneering engineer who created the asset in 1976 so much so that he is known as the father of the video game cartridge. 

Jerry Lawson was one of the few black men in the industry and led a team in order to make the first home video gaming console with interchangeable gaming cartridges. 

Google posted on YouTube the video informing about Jerry Lawson and the Google Doodle:-

Today marking the 82nd birthday of Jerry Lawson, Google created a number of interactive doodle games. You can reach the game by clicking on the logo of Google where the Doodle has been made.
