Lenovo’s Lemon K12 series to launch in China on December 9

Lenovo has recently announced that on December 9 it would launch the new Lemon K12 series.

The company has shared a poster which reveals that the phone is would be launch in China on December 9. But apart from this announcement it has not shared as to how many smartphones they plan to launch and any other detail of the new Lemon series. This announcement also comes shortly after K12’s pro version was spotted on FCC.

Previously the company did tease a Lemon phone which would be a competition to Redmi’s Note 9 series. This Lenovo smartphone will have a dedicated button on the side, which could be for Google Assistant. It would also have four rear cameras in a square module and a punch-hole display.

Reports suggest that the Lenovo K12 Pro could be a rebranded Moto G9 Power. On FCC, a Lenovo smartphone with model number XT-2091-8 was spotted. This model was very much similar to Moto G9 Power. The listing also hinted that the smartphone’s specs were similar to the Moto phone.

Lenovo Lemon K12 would come with a battery of 6,000 mAh, 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage option. It would also come with Snapdragon 662 SoC, HD+ display and a 64MP primary sensor. The smartphone is also listed with NFC and 5GHz Wi-Fi.

In markets such as China, brand name Lenovo is better received then Motorola so Lenovo is reportedly changing the brand name. as it is better received than Motorola in markets like China. Lenovo K12 Power is expected to be priced around 199 euros. There’s no word on when Lenovo will bring its new smartphones to other markets.
