How and where can you get FASTag and more ; check out now

Anyone driving a four-wheeled vehicle without a FASTag will be required to pay twice as much in tolls.

The government has put in place the FASTag facility, a cashless system that uses the FASTag to collect the complete toll tax money.

Due to the many advantages that FASTag provides, the Government of India has made its usage mandatory. These benefits include the simplicity of paying tolls at toll booths, the nearly constant circulation of cars over the national highway, the availability of online FASTag recharges, the use of less paper and fuel, completely cashless transactions, and others.

FASTag Application Process

  • At any digital payment application, request a FASTag.
  • As instructed, upload the necessary papers to the site.
  • Spend money on your FASTag.
  • In a few days, your FASTag will be delivered to the address you provided.

    Through banks

  • Fill out the FASTag application form at any bank that provides the FASTag service.
  • Send the form and other supporting documentation to the designated authority as instructed.
  • Spend money on your FASTag.
  • In a few days, your FASTag will be delivered to the address you provided.

Through Tollbooth or Offline mode

  • Step 1: To find an NHAI FASTag retail station nearby, utilize the My FASTag app. Otherwise, you can locate a temporary booth from an issuing bank selling FASTags at the closest NHAI toll plaza.
  • Step 2: Arrive at the destination with a current registration certificate for your car (RC).
  • Step 3: Give any other details about your car that are needed.
  • The Step 4; is to present the owner’s ID. You can present your ID as a car user if the automobile is registered to a corporation.
  • Step 5: Make the appropriate payment, which will reduce your FASTag account’s minimum balance. Depending on the issuer you purchase from, you could also be required to provide a security deposit.

Then you will receive your FASTag right away. Install it on your car’s windshield to make it simple to detect RFID (radio-frequency identification) at toll booths so that the toll may be automatically deducted.

  • The paperwork needed to apply for a FASTag while offline
  • Carry the necessary papers when you purchase FASTag offline:
  • current car registration certificate or RC
  • photo of the car’s owner as sized for a passport
  • For address and ID verification, use KYC credentials such a PAN card, passport, or driver’s license.
