A recent tweet by Elon Musk reveals that Twitter is going to clear 1.5 billion accounts from its platform. He has also added that the 1.5 billion accounts which are to be cleared have had no activities on them for the past few years.
This action by Elon Musk will help in removing all the unwanted and unused Twitter accounts from its platform, reducing a lot of its load.
Twitter users have both acknowledged this decision as the right one while other have raised questions regarding the accounts that were suspended for no reason.
Users have pointed out how accounts with many followers and activities are being suspended without being given a proper explanation as to why the account is being suspended.
Most users have criticized Musk for his decision to suspension of active accounts. However, the deletion of accounts with absolutely no activities on them has been well-received as of now.

Elon said that most accounts belonged to the far right group whereas the far left was left out of this ban. Several users reported the same that after the Twitter takeover of Elon Musk they have seen an exponential increase in their Twitter followers.
