With this Apples new feature, you can know who’s spying on your conversation
Apple has been dramatically working on improving the user’s security. It has recently launched its new Contact Key Verification feature for its iMessage. According to Apple this only works when both users turn on the feature which later may alert users if their chat is being spied on by any hacker.
According to the flagship, the iMessage feature will be accessible to persons “who get significant digital dangers,” such as journalists, human rights advocates, and politicians.
However, this feature won’t be made public to everyone and would be only available to some people. Other apps like WhatsApp are also providing features like this as end-to-end encrypted messaging which allows only those two users to read the message.
Apple stated that users who desire an additional layer of security may authenticate they are speaking to one another by comparing a Contact Verification Code to each other in person, over FaceTime, or over a secure conversation.
Along with all this Apple has released and announced more features like Lockdown mode, security keys for Apple ID, and Advanced Data Protection for iCloud to enhance the security and protect the user’s data.
