This report will blow your mind as WhatsApp has banned over 3.7 Million Indian accounts in November

Yes, you have heard it right according to data published by WhatsApp a total of 3.7 Million accounts have been banned by WhatsApp under the new IT Rules. The thing just doesn’t stop here, more than 9 Lakhs accounts have been shut down by the tech giant proactively.

The report states that the takedown of accounts is from November 1st – November 30th, 2022. If we talk about the new IT Rules if you have more than 5 million users you will have to publish a report each month with the ministry of telecommunications.

If we talk about the total number of users WhatsApp has in India it is quite a big number which is around 400 million active users.
