After mandating USB C port for phone now EU is to mandate removable battery for phone and EVs

The world is changing, and so do the decisions by people to mitigate the damage that we humans have caused to earth. Recently the news has come out that the European Union will make it compulsory for tech companies to manufacture removable batteries and those phone companies who will manufacture integrated battery phones will be banned.

This decision came out just after the decision of the USB charger. This was meant to allow all kinds of phone brands to find compatibility with a single universal charger type. Though it won’t cause any challenge to those brands which already manufacture USB C type.

Other than that companies have also been asked earlier to manufacture those phones that can be repaired easily by customers. It would not only reduce the e-waste burden but also increases the duration for which a phone can be used. This will be followed by EV manufacturers too.
