Raining Outside? Zepto Got You Covered with Chai, Pakodas, and Maggi Faster Than You Can Say ‘Monsoon Magic

Zepto, India’s rapidly growing consumer internet company, has introduced a new monsoon feature, adding joy to rainy days. This new innovative feature includes quick bundles of monsoon essentials that go live in an area when it rains there. It’s like when you are ordering tea you will receive prompts to add pakoda mix or Maggie in order to enhance your monsoon experience. Over 150 such bundles, along with Buy One Get One (BOGO) offers, are now available on the app to provide the perfect monsoon treat because the company says “chai and pakodas hit different during the monsoon”.

The feature is inspired by the interaction shared by Yash Challani, a Zepto customer. Yash’s LinkedIn post shows the conversation with Zepto’s customer care, where the suggestion of chai and pakoda for the monsoon resonated with many Indians, receiving over 250 likes. The post caught the attention of Zepto’s CEO and Co-founder, Aadit Palicha. And he did not take much time to bring it on the platform.

Zepto was founded in 2021 by Stanford University dropouts Aadit Palicha and Kaivalya Vohra. It’s already a unicorn and is working on becoming bigger than before like recently co-founder Aadit Palicha said that their company can surpass DMart in 18 to 24 months with a well-executed plan.
