28th Vande Bharat train to present itself in a new Orange and Grey colour exterior

In recent developments, the Indian Railways revealed a striking new livery for their upcoming Vande Bharat train. It displayed a new makeover for the train instead of the traditional White and Blue colour composition.

The 28th Vande Bharat train is manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai. The train will now feature an eye-catching combination of Orange and Grey colour. This will give a fresh and vibrant look to the iconic semi-high-speed train.

Railway Board prompted the decision to experiment with a new colour composition. The board wanted a design which would enhance the aesthetic appeal of the train and is also easier to maintain.

Considering the challenges they faced with the previous livery, the board pushed the ICF to explore varied options which can add to maintenance effort reduction, without compromising the visual aesthetic of the train.

Earlier, the trains displayed a classic combination of White and Blue, which became an identity of the Vande Bharat fleet. With the new Orange and Grey colour palette, the aim is to attract passenger and rail enthusiasts’ attention.

The new Orange and Grey exterior variant will roll out from the ICF Chennai factory later this month. The manufacturing team is trying to ensure that the train meets top-notch quality standards, while the new colour composition enhances the novelty of the overall design.
