After revealing exterior design now MG Motors has revealed first interior image of MG Comet
Last month, MG Motor gave the first glimpse of the exterior design of the Comet EV, which looked quite similar to the Wuling Air EV sold in Indonesia. Now, the carmaker has revealed the first interior image of this electric urban runabout. The image reveals that the Comet EV will have a two-spoke steering wheel and two control sets on each side. These buttons on the steering wheel are inspired by the Apple iPod and might be there to control audio, navigation, voice commands for infotainment, and several other functions. The image also reveals the dual-screen setup behind the steering wheel, which houses two 10.25-inch screens. Just below the screens, you will see two horizontally positioned AC vents.
This car is likely to be positioned as a premium urban runabout, and for that, it won’t compromise with the equipment, so it might come with features like an electric parking brake, hill start assist, keyless entry and go, drive modes, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and voice commands.
Expected powertrain and range
This car is expected to be powered by a 20 kWh battery sourced from Tesla AutoCamp. It might come with a 250 km range and a power output of 45 hp-50hp. As soon as this car comes into the market, it will have competitors like Tata Tiago EV and Citroen eC3. This car is likely to be priced at Rs 10 lakh-12 lakh.
