All You Need To Know About A Bengaluru-Based Startup Launching An Affordable Electric Scooter Without A Battery
The electric scooter’s cheap pricing was achieved by providing buyers the choice of purchasing it with or without a battery pack.
Electric scooters are the latest craze, but they’ve been prohibitively expensive until recently. However, a new concept will make electric scooters more affordable. Bounce, a Bengaluru-based electric scooter startup, has introduced the Infinity E1 at a price of Rs 45,099.
Without the battery, of course! Yes, the electric scooter’s cheap price was achieved while purchasers had the option of purchasing it with or without a battery pack. It costs Rs 68,999 with the battery.
Without a battery, purchasers rent the battery pack and use Bounce’s battery swapping network to replace the exhausted battery pack with a fully charged one. While it is the first scooter with such a function, the claimed electric scooter’s operating expenses will be reduced as a result.
It has a 2kWh lithium-ion battery pack that produces 83Nm of torque and has a top speed of 65 kmph. It can also be charged with a standard charger, with a five-hour charging period. Reverse mode, cruise control, anti-theft system, tow alarm, and geo-fencing are among the scooter’s other prominent features.
Users may also keep track of their scooter’s charging status. The scooter comes in five color variants, including matt options. The scooter is also available in five different colors, with a 12-liter boot. The dealership expects to begin deliveries in March 2022. The scooter is more economical than the current market possibilities due to the battery subscription mechanism and cost without it.
