What are EV vehicles?
An EV vehicle simply means an electric vehicle which does not work on consumption of Petrol and Diesel but on heavy batteries. All the electric vehicles have an electric motor instead of an internal engine.
Moreover, the electric vehicles have a huge battery pack to power the electric motor. They are plugged in a wall or in any charging point to refill the battery and use. We can see numerous charging points which are available for charging purpose.
Also, the electric vehicles do not emit any harmful gases or any other emission like other oil engine based vehicles do.
Who created the first EV car?
William Morrison developed the first successful electric vehicles in the U.S. in 1896. However, people still focus on the drawback of EV vehicles but several companies have reached great heights. As per December 2021 reports, 16 million plug in cars were on the world’s roads.
How many EV cars will be developed?
There are many EV cars which will be coming to the market in 2023. The following are the list :-
Audi A6 e-tron –
The all new Audi A6 e-tron will be sold in showrooms along with other non electric motor cars. However, this new Electric Vehicle will have a fast charging feature and it will be sold in the $80,000 MSRP zone at the start.
Canoo Pickup Truck –
Canoo Pickup Truck is all set to be released in spring 2023 which will cost between $35,000 and $50,000. It has added more unique features than of its previous models.
Also, the preorders for the Canoo Pickup electric Truck have already started. The truck will be available to buy in the United States as well as in select international markets.
Chevrolet Silverado Electric –
Chevrolet Silverado Electric Vehicle will be in the market 2023 in North American countries. The electric car will run upto 664 horsepower and the range is claimed to be 400 miles.
Kia EV9 –
Kia EV9 is a new three row electric SUV which will be developed in mid 2023 for selling in 2024. Also the new Kia SUV has a range of 300 miles and a fast charging feature which fulfills 80% in 20 minutes.
Tesla Cyber Truck and Roadster –
The new Electric car from Tesla – Cybertruck is marked to be developed in late 2023. Additionally, this EV car has a 620 mi range with over 250 speed. Also, Tesla Cyber Truck and Roadster can be reserved for $50,000.
Apart from these five upcoming EV cars, there are many companies on the list who are developing EV cars.
