Roads of Ladakh are challenging enough for cars to run a smooth ride whether an SUV or sedans. We have seen that people mostly use SUVs with higher ground clearance on those rocky roads. But for the first time, we can witness a BMW sports car running through the rocky ground of Leh Ladakh. An Instagram profile has posted a video where it can be seen that a BMW E92 M3 is riding across Zoji at LA pass in the district of Ladakh and J&K.
The video that is surfing the internet was posted by an Instagram handle named kabir.sheikh786 where a BMW sports car can be driving through such terrains. Reportedly Mr. Kabir is part of a sports car owners’ group and the group has been planning a supercar drive campaign from Delhi to Srinagar. They stated that supercars like BMW are suitable for such rocky terrains of Ladakh.
Sources say that sports cars and super cars are usually built to run on tracks but Mr. Kabir is about to change this notion by driving on mountainous terrains without any such major problems. In the video, it can be clearly seen that the BMW M3 has shown efficient ground clearance with its design without getting its underbody scrapped. Mr. Kabir states that the BMW E92 M3 has passed through uneven roads without getting a single scratch.
The video has also proved that the supercar can perform efficiently without the need to refill its fuel tank frequently. So, the BMW M3 has definitely won the road to Ladakh without showing any problem or damage and is now being recognized as the world’s first sports car running without tracks on the rocky terrain of India.
