Deliveries of the Ola S1 and S1 Pro will commence on December 15: A quick rundown of the price and features
Before the first delivery, here's a quick rundown of everything you need to know about the Ola S1 and S1 Pro.
Ola Electric introduced its S1 electric scooter line in India in August, with sales slated to begin in October 2021. However, following the postponement of these dates, business CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has now announced that deliveries of the electric scooter will begin this month.
Aggarwal has confirmed in a fresh tweet that deliveries for the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro would commence on December 15 this year. A few photos of Ola electric scooters queued up outside the company’s factories are also included in the tweet. Take a look at the video below.
Users interested in purchasing an Ola S1 or Ola S1 Pro can do so today by visiting their website and booking an electric scooter in their preferred colour for Rs 499.

The Ola S1 costs Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom), while the Ola S1 Pro costs Rs 1,29,999. (ex-showroom). However, state incentives in certain locations may make the two electric scooters more affordable in places like Delhi and Maharashtra.
The Ola S1 has a 2.9kWh battery and offers 8.5kW peak power, while the S1 Pro has a larger 3.9kWh battery and delivers 8.5kW peak power. Both scooters have the same 8.5kW engine. In comparison to the standard S1, which only has a ‘Normal’ and a ‘Sport’ riding mode, the S1 Pro gains a new ‘Hyper’ performance option. The Ola S1 and S1 Pro will be available in a total of ten colours.
Reverse Mode, in-built speakers, proximity sensors, app compatibility, and a Hill Hold feature that keeps the vehicle from rolling back on hills while riding are among the other features. The scooter also has an all-digital panel that allows the user to control all features and settings.
