Elon Musk gave a walkaround of the Texas Giga Factory and its quite amazing

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, revealed on Twitter on Thursday that the company’s fifth Gigafactory will open tomorrow. Texas Gigafactory, he claimed, will open on Friday. The Tesla Texas Gigafactory will open just a few weeks after the Tesla Gigafactory in Berlin.

With the five Gigafactories planned throughout the world, Tesla is projected to solidify its already dominant position in the worldwide electric vehicle industry. This will significantly increase the electric car manufacturer’s production capability.

Tesla now has factories in the United States, China, and Germany. The Giga Shanghai serves as a main hub for the company, catering to both the Chinese and international markets. It is currently producing two of Tesla’s most popular vehicles, the Model X and Model Y. The Tesla Model Y is manufactured at Giga Berlin, which has a production capacity of 500,000 automobiles per year. Furthermore, the Tesla Texas Gigafactory will increase the automaker’s manufacturing capacity.

Critics have accused the electric vehicle manufacturer of severely delaying vehicle deliveries. To counteract this, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been emphasising the importance of significantly raising the company’s production volume for some time. This strategy is likely to be aided by the new plant. Additionally, it has the potential to shorten the dreaded Tesla car waiting period to some level.

Adding the second factory would also help Tesla compete more effectively in a competitive market where numerous automakers are working on electric vehicles and challenging Tesla.
