Honda Launches New Amaze in India with ADAS, Starting at ₹7.99 Lakh
Honda Cars India has introduced the latest version of its Amaze compact sedan, bringing significant upgrades including ADAS features – a first in its segment. The 2024 model launches with an introductory price of ₹7.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant.
The new Amaze comes in three trim levels – V, VX, and ZX – with prices ranging up to ₹10.89 lakh(Ex-Showroom) for the top ZX CVT variant. The introductory pricing will be available for 45 days.
Design updates include new headlamps, a revised grille, and a redesigned front bumper with fog lamps, showing some resemblance to the Elevate SUV. The sedan features larger ORVMs and new 15-inch alloy wheels. The rear sports LED tail lamps similar to the Honda City’s design, along with a new bumper featuring four sensors and a rearview camera. Boot space has been increased to 416 litres.
Inside, Honda has equipped the Amaze with an 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, and features like:
- Rear AC vents
- Wireless charger
- Push-button start/stop
- Air purifier
- Fully automatic climate control
- Walkaway auto lock
Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, rear parking sensors, hill start assist, and Honda Sensing ADAS technology.
Under the hood, the Amaze retains its 1.2-litre four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine, producing 89 bhp and 110 Nm torque, with some refinements. The engine comes paired with either a manual transmission (18.65 kmpl) or CVT (19.46 kmpl).
