The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Huawei, has unveiled its new panoramic smart flagship SUV – Aito M9 in the brand’s home market in China. Four models have been launched with price starting at CNY 469,800.

Huawei Aito M9 Introduced in China
Huawei’s Aito M9 firstly features the brand’s own Huawei X Pixel megapixel smart projection headlights. Safer lighting is offered with the dual-light 2.6 million smart car lights, and with the original dual-reflector space optical system, 3-meter ultra-near field. High-precision ADB, width light blanket, 100-inch outdoor giant screen projection are some other lighting features.
The SUV also supports up to 10 display screens, with a new integrated universal triple screen design and a 32-inch car grade projection giant screen. The HarmonyOS 4 is also twice as smooth as before, with features like multi-screen and multi-account connectivity.
Huawei Witness, the brand’s immersive head-up display is another notable feature. 75″ large format, reversing image, parking view, 4-view display, industry’s highest 2K resolution, industry’s highest brightness, AR real screen, and integrated ADS are all part of it.
The advanced intelligent driving assistance, Huawei ADS 2.0, comes with a newly designed 192-line LIDAR offering safer driving experience, nationwide open access, and parking assistance.
The brand has also given more attention to safety, featuring the first ESA emergency steering assistance, omni-directional anti-collision system, super hard-core Xuanwu body, 9,000-ton integrated die-casting process, and 2,000 MPa hot-formed steel protection 6. Dimension-wise Huawei’s Aito M9 SUV has 5230mm length, 1999mm width, 1800mm height, and 3110mm wheelbase.
The Huawei Touring Intelligent Chassis is another important feature of the SUV. All-aluminum alloy chassis, front double wishbone, rear multi-link independent suspension, intelligent closed air springs, CDC variable damping shock absorbers, road preview based on MFSS(multi-modal fusion sensing system), intelligent road surface sensing, IVSE intelligent vehicle sensing, Huawei’s new Dynamic Adaptive Torque System(DATS), and Huawei X Motion intelligent body collaborative control system are also features integrated to it.
Huawei’s Whale 800V7 high voltage battery platform brings super running and low power consumption to the SUV. The ultra-highly integrated battery pack and minimalistic circuit improves reliability. The strengthened beam protection assures that bumps never cause any damage to the battery, and the cell isolation design prevents single cell thermal runaway from spreading.
The industry’s most powerful 800V high-voltage silicon carbide electric battery and the industry’s highest 22,000-speed motor equipped with original oil cooling technology further helps in improving user’s driving experience. Also to add, the SUV will offer a range a 150 Km with just a 5-minute charge.
The integration of the brand new Xiaoyi Smart Assistant with an upgraded Huawei Pangu AI large model, Xiaoyi scene arrangement, and 6-sound zone voiceprint recognition again adds in giving users a better experience within the SUV.
To bring a theatre-like audio experience, the brand has also added the Huawei Sound Excellence Series speaker system with a total of 25 speakers, 2080W super power amplifier, and high fidelity sound support. Star ring scatterers, theatre-level acoustic technology, super-sensory spatial sound, smart sweet spot, and privacy shield technology are other audio features.
Eliminating battery life anxiety, the SUV also has the fourth-generation extended-range platform with 41% ultra-high thermal efficiency and CLTC comprehensive range of 1,402 Km. The fuel consumption is also claimed to be as low as 6.9L/100 Km under WLTC conditions. Greater power generation with strong power for continuous high-speed driving, intelligent range extension, silent power generation, and no power loss for long distance drive are ensured to the users.
Price
As mentioned, four models of the Aito M9 SUV are available. The M9 Extended Range Max Edition is the base option with a price of CNY 469,800. The top-end M9 Pure Electric Ultra Edition is priced CNY 569,800. The mid-models such as the M9 Pure Electric Max Version and M9 Extended Range Ultra Edition have price tags of CNY 509,800 and CNY 529,800 respectively.
