Hyundai Creta EV spotted, connected to charging cable through bonnet
When most companies are busy converting ICE vehicles to EVs and introducing new EV models, Hyundai Creta is worth converting. This compact SUV witnessed an overall sales growth of 14 percent in March 2023 and managed to maintain its highest position in market share among compact SUVs with 29.05%. Such a high-sales driving SUV by Hyundai is worth converting to EV. And Hyundai is doing it well. We reported about the latest test mule of the Hyundai Creta EV which was spotted in Karnal, Haryana.
Citing Automotive enthusiast Manpreet who shared the exclusive spy shots of the Hyundai Creta EV test mule hooked up to an EV charging station, Rushlane reported about Hyundai Creta EV. The car can be seen without any camouflage. It can offer a different front and rear bumper design to make it a bit different from the ICE version of this car. Though the SUV has been connected through a charging cable by opening the bonnet, when it will be launched it will be equipped with a charging port. Earlier it was spotted with no radiator and no exhaust.
Powertrain
According to the speculations Hyundai Creta shares its powertrain with Kona EV. If the speculations are right this SUV will be equipped with a 39.2 kWh battery coupled with the 134 bhp and 395 Nm electric motor. Following the Kona EV range, it can also come with 452 Km of range on a single charge. As far as its features are concerned it might come with a panoramic sunroof, powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, large infotainment screen, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For safety purposes, it might come with 6 airbags, ADAS, and others.
