Hyundai Creta Knight Edition Launched with 1.5L Petrol and Diesel Engines, Starting at ₹14.51 Lakh (Ex-Showroom)

The automobile industry saw the launch of the Hyundai Creta Knight edition on Wednesday, 4 September 2024. The Creta standard edition was launched earlier and now Hyundai has presented to the market the Knight edition. The Creta Knight SUV is available from a starting price of Rs 14.51 lakh (Ex-showroom), which goes up to Rs 20.15 lakh (Ex-showroom) in its upper-end variants.

The vehicle provides the option of both a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.

Now, let’s have a look at the different variants and their prices (Ex-showroom). The Creta Knight S(O) petrol MT is priced at Rs 14.51 lakh. Next, the Creta Knight S(O) petrol CVT is priced at Rs 16.01 lakh. The Creta Knight SX (O) petrol MT variant’s price is about Rs 17.42 lakh and the Creta Knight SX(O) petrol CVT variant’s price is about Rs 18.88 lakh.

Next, the Creta Knight S(O) diesel MT’s price is about Rs 16.08 lakh and the Creta Knight S(O) diesel AT’s price is about Rs 17.58 lakh. The Creta Knight SX(O) diesel MT variant is priced at about Rs 19 lakh. Lastly, the Creta Knight SX(O) diesel AT variant is priced at about Rs 20.15 lakh.

The Creta Knight is available in an overall black paint scheme. However, you can have it with the Titan Grey Matte paint scheme by paying an additional price of Rs 5,000. Furthermore, you can have an additional black roof with this colour variant for another Rs 15,000.

Features and Specifications:

  • The edition is based on the S(O) and SX(O) variants of the SUV.
  • New features have received a black makeover, which includes the likes of a black-painted front radiator grille, matte black logos on the front and rear, and R17 black alloy wheels with red brake calipers.
  • Even the skid plates, roof rails, C-pillar garnish, spoiler, and ORVM caps are blacked out.
  • The vehicle includes a Knight Emblem.
  • The interior is incorporated with an all-black layout. It features a brass-coloured insert and metal pedals. The brass-coloured stitching and piping further stretch out to the gear lever and leather sets.
  • The vehicle has a leather-wrapped steering wheel
  • The vehicle offers the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol and the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine options.
  • While the NA petrol engine can produce a power of up to 115hp and 144Nm of torque, the diesel engine can produce up to 116hp and 250Nm.
  • The petrol engine features a 6-speed MT or an optional CVT, and the diesel motor has a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
