Hyundai has revealed its new flagship car design called as Hyundai Grandeur

Hyundai’s premium car, the Grandeur, has debuted exterior and interior concepts. The following sedan, which is also known as the Azera outside of South Korea, looks very different from the current model. Hyundai has not yet released the mechanical details of the Grandeur sedan, which replaces the Sonata in the company’s lineup overseas.

Technical specifications for the car are not yet available.

The few official photographs show the 2023 Grandeur to have an eye-catching exterior design with a front fascia mimicking the futuristic-looking Staria minivan. An LED light bar covers the whole width of the vehicle’s front while the actual headlights are placed lower on the bumper in a separate cluster on the sides of a big grille.

The side profile shows door handles that are flush with the body when not in use, while the quarter glass bears reference to the Grandeur’s original design from 1986. That was a Mitsubishi Debonair with a different name; it wasn’t a Hyundai in the conventional sense. If you recall, the South Korean carmaker modified the Mk1 when it debuted the electric Heritage Series Grandeur in November 2021.

Large rear doors on the new Grandeur strongly suggest that the wheelbase has been lengthened for additional space in the back. The previous model’s dimensions were 4,990 mm overall and 2,885 mm (113.6 inches) between the axles (196.5 in). It currently resembles the Genesis G80 and G90 in terms of size.

To keep with the simple design, there is a full-width light bar towards the back that is identical to the one up front. Above the prominent “Grandeur” branding in the center of the trunk lid is where you’ll find the rearview camera.

The Grandeur’s technical specifications have not yet been released by Hyundai, as was previously indicated. The new Grandeur is likely to feature a variety of powertrain options, including a plug-in hybrid. In addition to the gasoline and diesel engine options offered by the previous model.
