Recently, Rushlane, a leading auto news website posted the leaked specs of the upcoming Hyundai i20 in India in the year 2023. They also mentioned that the Hyundai i20 will get RDE compliant engine along with an OBD2 update.

The Type Approval certificate has been issued by ARAI Pune. It is the designated testing agency for Hyundai cars. The certificate is compliant with CMVR. Apart from this, the Type Approval Certificate is dated 17th January 2023.
