Hyundai India has launched 2023 Hyundai Creta with array of safety features but at a cost get to know all about it 

Finally, Hyundai India has launched the 2023 Creta which comes with updated specs but with a price hike that can’t be ignored. If we talk about safety, it has been given utmost importance in this 2023 Creta. An array of safety features is added across all the variants. It comes with six airbags, Electronic Safety Control(ESC), Vehicle Stability Management(VSM), Hill start assist anchorages and height-adjustable seat belts. Other than this it’s 1.4-liter turbo petrol engine has been discontinued and replaced with two engine options that are 1.5-liter petrol and 1.5-liter diesel. Both of the powertrains come with ideal start/stop technology. 

Petrol variant

If we talk about the price hike, Hyundai Creta petrol variants each get a Rs 20,000 price hike. The petrol variant of the Hyundai Creta starts with a 1.5 MT E trim that is priced at Rs 10.84 lakh and was earlier Rs 10.64 lakh. It shows the price hike is up to 1.88 percent or Rs 20,000 higher than the previous. Other than this 1.5 MT EX variant which was earlier Rs 11.58 lakhs cost not Rs 11.78 lakhs while the 1.5 MT S variant sports a new price tag of Rs 13.03 lakhs from Rs 12.83 lakhs. The 1.4 DCT SX(O) variant price is the same as earlier with Rs 18.34 lakhs.

Diesel variant

The diesel variant of Creta has also undergone a price hike and the standard price hike across the diesel variant has been kept at Rs 45,000. The Creta E MT which was earlier priced at Rs 11.44 lakhs now costs around Rs 11.89 lakhs while EX-MT which was earlier at Rs 12.72 lakhs is now available for Rs 13.17 lakhs. The hike of prices in different variants of Creta has come to light through data shared by Rushlane on Twitter in which a comparison shows the price hike and difference of prices in Hyundai Creta.
