Hyundai Officially Teases Creta Electric Ahead Of Its Launch In India
Hyundai will be launching its all-new EV- Creta Electric at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Previously this EV has been spotted many times on the road while being tested. It is said that Creta Electric will arrive as an affordable EV in India. It is said that this upcoming EV will act as a replacement for the Hyundai Kona Electric which was discontinued last year. Now ahead of this scheduled launch, the carmaker has officially teased Creta Electric via the X platform.
Electric is now CRETA.

Hyundai Creta Electric Showcased
If we look at the design, Creta Electric looks similar to the ICE-powered Creta, same connected LED DRLs, dual barrel LED headlights, and connected LED tail lights. There are a few notable differences as well like a blanked-out grille on the front with a center-mounted charging port, a redesigned bumper on the rear side, and 17-inch aero alloy wheels.
On the inside, it will feature a new steering wheel similar to the Hyundai Ioniq 5, a leatherette dashboard, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android auto connectivity, Level-2 ADAS, dual screen setup for infotainment, instrument cluster, a new ear selector an electric panoramic sunroof. Creta Electric is revealed to arrive with two battery pack variants- the 51.4kWh pack offers a 473km range while the 42kWh pack provides a 390km range. It can be charged up to 80% in 58 minutes with the help of DC fast charging. It is said that this EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
Creta Electric will be available in 4 variants- Executive, Smart, Premium, and Excellence with 8 monotone and 2 dual-tone color options. It will feature three driving modes- Eco, normal and sports.
