JSW MG has finally launched the much-awaited electric car Windsor MG which it says is the country’s first-ever CUV. It is said to be the combination of the practicality of an SUV and the comfort of a sedan. This EV pricing starts from Rs 9.99 lakh and comes with unique benefits. We will start from the design aspect of the EV. It has got upright face with a high-set bonnet. It comes with a split headlamp design and LED DRLs with a light bar in between. It has an L-shaped tail light and it runs on 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside you get a black theme with wooden inserts that give it an elegant look. The elegant look gets a tech touch with the 15.6-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system with a fully color-driver display and a two-spoke steering wheel. Additionally, its interior is also equipped with cupholders, a wireless charger, a front centre armrest, automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, a blind spot monitor, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, speakers, and airbags.
Now coming on the powertrain the EV comes with a PMS motor and is backed by a 38kWh Li-ion battery. It comes with four driving modes and its peak is at 136Hp, and 200Nm. As per the announcement the MG Windsor EV can cover up to 331 km and can be charged in 40 minutes through a DC charger. The company is also offering a lifetime warranty to its owner of the MG Windsor. It comes bundled with one year of free public charging with eHUB by MG App.
