Regarding its specs and features, Kia hasn’t announced anything official yet about the upcoming EV9 GT-Line but from what is now known, the EV9 GT-Line is built on the EGMP architecture and brings some cool design features along with it.
Speaking of its engine, the vehicle is supposedly said to have a dual electric motor for being the GT variant and is to have a maximum power of 379 horsepower along with a torque of 516 pounds per foot. It is also said to have a 99.8-kilowatt hour battery and will have a range of upto 300 miles (about 483 km).
The exterior design of the EV is also very unique and similar to Kia’s EV9. The car at its front has an LED headlight light along with Star Map LED DRLs adding a sporty and premium look to it. The EV that was showcased at the Seoul Mobility Show also features cameras instead of rear-view mirrors and the display of which is placed on the two doors.
Coming to its interior, the EV9 GT-Line features a newly designed interior with a lot of space to offer its passengers. The car will also offer three rows of seats with about 20 different ways of seat adjustments with a recliner mode for a more comfortable driving position.
The steering wheel has also been redesigned and features an illuminated Kia logo that will light up once the EV is turned on. It also offers tilt and telescopic adjustment along with many steering wheel controls. Kia’s EV9 GT-Line also has an HDP button on its steering wheel indicating that the vehicle will have the highway drive pilot. On its dashboard, the two 12-inch displays and the volume roller button are also highlights of the EV.
Two sunroofs, roof rails, 21-inch alloy wheels, tiger-face grill are all the other features that can be spotted on the vehicle. Kia has also mentioned that apart from the Deep Ocean Blue colour, 9 other colour choices can also be expected for the EV which will also include a few matte colours as well.
For more details about the EV we’ll probably have to wait for more updates from the company or until its launch.
