The highly anticipated 5-door Mahindra Thar SUV- Thar Roxx finally made its debut in the Indian market yesterday at the 78th Independence Day of the country. A few days back the company officially teased the design of this SUV and now all the details regarding the Thar ROXX have been officially revealed.

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Features
First, if we talk about the design, on the outside it comes with the iconic boxy Thar silhouette. It features LED headlights with C-shaped LED DRLs and a new 6-slat grille. It is equipped with 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and a metal roof that features a panoramic sunroof. On the inside the SUV features seats in leatherette upholstery and a dashboard with leatherette padding. It includes ISOFIX child seat mounts on the sides, a foldout center armrest, three-point seatbelts, and adjustable headrests for all passengers.
It boasts two 10.25-inch displays and automatic AC with rear AC vents. Ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, six airbags, 360-degree camera setup, 9-speaker Harmon/Kardon speaker system, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, and advanced driver assistance systems.
It has two engine options- a 2.2L diesel engine and a 2L petrol engine.

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Availability
Thar Roxx comes with MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3L, AX5L and AX7L models. All the models come in Tango Red, Everest White, and Stealth Black color options. MX5, AX3L, AX5L, and AX7L models also come in Battleship Grey, Burnt Sienna, Forest Green, and Nebula Blue color options.
The pricing for the Petrol variant starts from Rs.12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) while for the Diesel variant, it starts from Rs.13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings for Thar Roxx will start from 3rd October onwards.
